Well, I thought our D would be god-awful all year long. Sucks that they come back down to earth when the offense puts up 30.

Secondary is the #1 reason for this loss, then the rest of the Defense.

Wow...being cute and trying a trick play just killed us and then trying to force it to A.B

 

The sad thing is we lose to these guys who have just horrible fans. They're so dumb they probably think they get the SB 40 trophy back for this game.

this team is just too mediocre.. excellent offense bogged down by a horrible pass defense... maybe the worst in the league.

 

Come on guys... Our defense has been playing well, we were due to fall back to Earth at some point. Just consider this a bad game by the defense. Let's just hope this defense doesn't pop it's head up against an AFC team... Anyone truly remember the Raiders game?

 

Blake should NEVER play another snap for the Steelers. Period.

Slip from the 5th seed to the 8th seed just like that. Must win next week now versus Colts. Can't afford another conference loss at this point. A lot of the teams we are with right now have tough games left. But boy the Steelers really pissed this game away late in the 3rd quarter. They had Seattle right where they wanted them.

This is our true defense. We got no turnovers and that's how bad it is. Wilson 5 tds

 

Yep. I'm seriously not getting all the hatred at the coaches today. The secondary played like ****e. Ben threw to a wide open Sherman. And yes, I am going to call the bad ref decisions as a turning point in the game.

Not saying the coaches are blameless, but this just looked like an all-around "everything goes tits up in the 4th quarter" game.

 

Ben's hands better have fallen off or something for Jones to be coming in, as far as I'm concerned. I don't care if we were 100 points down, openly quitting is not acceptable in my book.

 

If you go for it on the 2 and fail, you are still trusting your d to hold. Odds are for going for it.

 

Pass rush is weak as a kitten. That Seattle OLine is as injured and as bad as any in the league and we can't get home when necessary. Terrible job by the defense today.

 

Worst 3rd down defense in the league. Blake is beyond useless. When the game is on the line, the Steelers will always make bad decisions. Add to that bad bounces, overturned calls, and BS officiating. It's a formula for this sort of ending. But at least we didn't live in our fears.....

 

Don't give the offense a pass either, failed in the RZ a few times and turned it over way too much.
