Tomlin is not the issue, the kicker is. Defense got pressure and turnovers and the offense with a second string qb put up 20 points.

When Ben is in and Tomlin won't go forit on 4th instead of a long kick I lose my ****. When Tomlin goes for a field goal withVick back there it is a good decision.

49 yard FG on a 4th and 5. Punt might have been better but trusting Vick on a 4th and 5 isn't ideal.

Scobee should be able to hit from 41.

Hard to fault Tomlin for a very good performance from everyone but the kicker and Vick.

The Vick bootleg was really dumb though. Give it to Bell or Brown. Period.

The punting was terrible. Scobee is pathetic and Tomlin's bone head coaching equals to a defeat.

Who is the reason we have Vick to start with? Who was the coach who had clock awareness, clue, it was not Tomlin. Why do we have such a bad kicker.begins with a T! Outcoached again!

Tomlin and Colbert were given extensions during the offseason. He's here for a while.

Harbaugh is a much better coach than Tomlin will ever be!

We all ready for the tomlin industry standard press conference. We will own the loss and the standard is the same. No playoff wins in a while and no supra this year. Amatuer coach gets outcoached again. We snathe a loss from a victory because coach is an idiot

Mike Vick is washed up and has zero touch on short passes and slants.

Todd Haley called a miserable game. Bell was finding his mojo and making a lot outta nothing. Why didn't they just keep feeding him? I trust Bell against a stacked D-line grinding two tough off tackle yards a helluva lot more than Mike Vick completing a 2 yard pass in a pressure situation.

Yeah. It's bad when you can't hit a wide open AB on a slant.

The only thing is that Tomlin brought him here and gave up a pick to get him. That is inexcusable. Tomlin DID do the right thing by not letting him kick the 50 yarder BUT he didn't give it to Bell and that is TOTALLY on Tomlin. He even said "My bad" when that play was over. Yeah coach. Ya think??? Yeah AB was open. So what. What odds are better? AB catching a 5 yarder or Bell picking up 1 to continue a drive?

No. That's Bell's ball. Vick did say in his presser though that it was wrong that Heath wasn't more involved in the gameplan.

Stop blaming Tomlin for the 4th down call. That falls on Haley and more so Vick. It was a good call and Brown was wide open just a bad pass.

I disagree and here's why. After the play Tomlin said "My bad". Also even IF Haley suggested the play Tomlin could flat out say "No. Give it to Bell or I'm punting" and Haley would have to comply. That's why I put it on Tomlin. I've never came down as hard on him as I am tonight but I feel he TOTALLY deserves it. I TOTALLY agree that we should have went for it but not with THAT play.

I think Tomlin said my bad for not kicking the ball there but the play was there the execution was not. A few inches lower and that's a first down and probably the ball game.

Yeah but with Vick and AB obviously having chemistry issues Bell was just the better odds in that situation. If Ben was in the game that would have been a fine call.

Oh I agree that they should have just pounded the rock, but its hard to blame the coach when the play worked just as it was drawn up and the players didn't follow through. I still completely blame Scobee though. We should have never been it OT.

I felt the same way on the 3rd and 2 in the series before the ill-fated Vick rollout on 4th and 2. If you were going to do for 4th down, why not spread it out and run on 3rd down since it's WORKING, or at least have an OPTION to run or pass....You feel so helpless as you watch these things happen....
