Now lets all be honest here, Do you enjoy watching our offense?
Do you enjoy watching our defense?

Do you find them both boring to watch
especially when they are playing a ****ty team?
    Oh hell, any team?
Do you ask yourself why they can't put mediocre teams away?
Do you ask why mediocre QB's have success against the Steelers?
Let me see Bruce Gradkowski comes to mind with the Raiders
a couple years back. We have no identity, we are lost in the woods
both offensevely and defensively, I can't get excited anymore
when I watch the PGH Steelers.

Then stop watching. You're pissed off just like the rest of us but it's time to let it go. The truth is the Steelers have given us a lot of victories for many years and if you can't appreciate that then maybe it's time for you to find another team ;)

I agree. I haven't been excited since 2008 when the defence was still reminiscent of the steel curtain. I haven't been excited about the offence since Arians came to town. We have no identity. We don't seem to be successful at running or passing. We have no power running game anymore, our WR's are talented but soft. I want another Hines Ward at WR who will kill the other team when he gets the chance, I want a power blocking scheme for our Oline, I want a running game, I want a TE that is actually used in the game, I want short passes and I want long scoring drives.

This past year I was so frustrated watching Steelers games that I didn't enjoy them all. By the end of the season, my girlfriend even asked me why I continue to watch it if I don't even seem to enjoy it. I had no answer. She's right. If BA comes back next year and we have the same team next year as we did this year, I may stop watching the Steelers by week 4. I just don't enjoy it, so what's the point? I will always cheer for the Steelers and will post here and watch the highlights, but no point in watching games I don't enjoy. This team just isn't the Pittsburgh Steelers I grew up watching.

Amen brother, I couldn't have said it any better than what you mentioned,is exactly how I feel.
I am sure my age has started to creep up on me, I grew up watching the Steelers for forty years they aremy HOMETOWN team, I use to live and die by what they did. Us people in western Pa
live and breathe Steeler football 24-7. They just don't excite me as much, Antonio Brown gives me hope!

im excited every week they play.

right now im pissed that they lost to the Broncos. a team that on paper they shoud have killed, but lets face it, this Steeler team had the talent on paper to kill just about every team they played this year.

their age became painfully obvious on defense and there complete lack of an identity on offense killed them.

changes have to be made. the way this team is right now will probably beable to make the playoffs again next year, but they will lose in the 1st round again.

they need Hood and Heyward to step up. they need to fill Hamptons spot. they need help in the secondary. Ike had a terrible game, but he is still a good db, but he shouldnt be their best db.

the oline needs to be overhauled. Ben needs to get his head out of his A and start playing like a guy that has top tier qb talent every week. and they need to get a new ocordinator.

but if your asking if i get excited to watch this team play, you bet your ass.

LOL, the **** some of you guys come up with. Yes, absolutely, every freaking week I can't wait for Steeler football, as long as they win I am happy. They gave me 12 games to be happy last season, not always pretty but happy all the same. I don't care if the win by 100 or by 1, a win is a win and I'll take it every single time.

Yeah, I noticed there is alot of bandwagon fans on here.

Bottom line it's hard to have dynastys like the 70's and 80's. Upsets are common more than ever. People who wouldn't watch their team because they're fed up with the Qb or OC or management too bad for them because steeler nation really doesn't care.

I always order chicken wings and have plenty of beers during every Steeler game. Sometimes games don't turn out the way you hoped, but there will always be a next game even if you need to wait another year.

Bottom line you win as a team and you lose as a team. I don't like Arians playcalling either but he's not the sole reason why everything goes wrong. I love our defense but they were not perfect all season. I love our offense but they have more potential to be better. I thought our special teams improved. But, I am tired of the defensive minded oriented people always trying to blame their defensive woes on arians/offense. Enough already...

Some of these posts are amazing. I LOVE watching the Steelers play, win or lose. The team does look a bit off center sometimes but think of all the teams between 1979 and 2005. We had quite a few stinker teams during that stretch also and the good teams well, losing AFC Title games at home was brutal. Point is, sometimes the Steelers will be a really good team and sometimes they will stink. Ride the highs and endure the lows and always keep cheering. Such is the nature of being a sports fan.

I get excited for every game, but they frustrate the heck out of me at times... I guess I'm a terrible fan and should go find a different team, that or just get a better pair of rose colored glasses.

    I endured the 80s.

    This is nothing. :)

Am I disappointed? Hell yeah. But if we're all honest, we know that sooner or later lean times come for every team. somehow, we've avoided that for 25 years. 1-2 bad seasons every now and then is tolerable. And this wasn't a BAD season. Merely disappointing.

i enjoy watching them, but to be honest, it's old games that i re-watch.
last year's playoff games against the Jets aswell as the 2nd half of the game vs the Rats :D
08 postseason (chokers, rats, super bowl - despite liking Warner, too bad he had to play against our boys :D)
of course the 05 season (Bus' last games in Pittsburgh, the one where he ran all over the Bears and the one against Detroit) and the post season.

Looking back at this season ... Only the New England game would be fun to re-watch, everything else was mostly downright ugly to watch (except maybe the shutouts)

I enjoy watching the steelers regardless how they under perform sometimes. It has been stressful this season because just about every game comes down to the wire. I even enjoy watching the preseason games because I want to see how the rookies play. I record both preseason and regular season games. I just don't watch the games they lose. It doesn't matter preseason or regular season.

    I still haven't watched the 95 superbowl ......
