I was going to split my bet and take the Pats and give the Steelers the points and take the over. I changed my mind and took the 7 points and the Steelers and still took the over.

I think Shazier and Wheaton will have a good game, also the Steelers defense sacks Brady 3-4 times and he throws a int and fumbles once if Keith Butler turns these guys loose.

yup same here. I don't care if we get lucky, a NE receiver drops an easy pass for the win, their kicker shanks an easy kick, or if the refs give a bad call that causes us to win.... we just need the W lol. We are not at full strength so any wins are appreciated.

Welcome to the NFL, Jordan Berry! I hope it's not a punt-fest like that Miami game from a few years ago. Although if it comes to that I like our chances with AB back there fielding punts.

The rain may be an even bigger advantage for AB. He knows where he will be cutting whereas the DBs don't. He's uncoverable anyway, but if its a slick surface, AB could have a monster game.

AND AB WILL TWIST HIS ANKLE AND BE OUT FOR 2 WEEKS WHILE FUMBLING AND PATS SCORING TO MAKE THE GAME 55-24 PATS. #reversejinx

Based on what I saw in the preseason I have no expectations with this game. Hopefully the preseason was just subterfuge with the defense.

Uh so it seems thry are disabling communication between coaches. Hard to counter that on the field.

This defense is horrible. What is going on with the damn conservative play calling? It is going to be a long season with this pathetic defense!

Never bet on games involving your favorite team. Your heart will screw you over every time.

Good point. When I was younger that was more the situation than now. I thing I can separate my heart and my brain a little better now (hopefully). The only reason I bet is to win money for the animals, specifically Best Friends Shelter in Utah. I've been lucky the last four or five years and have been able to win enough to sent them a check for around 3,000.00 at the end of each the season plus my normal annual contribution. Last year was a home run and the check was for 5,000.00. I don't expect to equal or beat last years winnings but if I can get close it will be fine. They put the money to very good use and they never put an animal down unless it reaches a point that there is nothing else left to do.
