I agree with the point Smizik is making... He is not talking about play calling, yards, points or red zone efficiency... ect.

Just that Arians and Ben are way too close personally, which is making him less effective as a coach/boss. The coach to player hierarchy is no longer there.

I'm willing to bet that Tomlin does not see this as a problem though.

Tomlin...Some one posted that he stood outside of a late game offensive sideline huddle looking like a lost puppy. That should tell you everything you need to know about Coach Cliche'...and I thought coach Dungy retired from the NFL.

Another factor that we have to consider is the future of our WR corp. Not only has BA (and still is ) stunted the growth of Ben, he also is hindering the maturation of our recievers. They are not learning how to play in a structured offense especially when admittedley they spend a good chunk of practice time on broken plays. So not only is he hurting this team now, but when Ben eventually goes down again, which you know he will playing in this raggedy offense then his back-up or replacement will struggle as well because ther isn't a legit offensive system in place. (ex. NE,GB,NO)Let's also not forget how the Texans have been able to hold it togehter with T.J. Yates at QB.
