    I'm over a year late to this game. Won't make that mistake again. So much fun. NOT for kids (seriously. More mature teenagers at a minimum. Too many adult themes and content), but a blast otherwise.

    Started playing on-line 2 weeks ago and it's maybe the most fun I've had playing anything on-line in ages. Finally got the scratch up to buy and fully mod this little beauty too. Check the hotness:

    How did I forget to post a pic of the rear of the car (note the license plate. :D) It's not the only Steelers themed car I own. But it's my favorite. (I even have gold runner lights. Looks really sharp at night)

    The lights are too bright in my garage, so the picture quality isn't the best. But here's my newest toy in GTA.

    So, do you actually play the game or just build cars in it? :thumbs_up:

    What's the point of having cars in GTA V? Every other game in GTA I just took whatever car I wanted. Never quite got the point of having a garage full of stuff.

    Having your own cars lets you upgrade/customize them past what their stock configuration is. Some of the cars I own I stole. A couple of my favorite cars for that matter. Then upgraded them later. But the high end cars are very rare in the game world, and you cannot save them to your garage or upgrade/customize them. Joy rides only. If you want to have them for yourself and makes any alterations, you have to buy them.

    Alterations can be cosmetic like window tints, paint jobs, etc.

    And some are performance like suspension, upgraded engines, brakes, turbo, etc. THOSE upgrades are significant over stock. And if you like to do racing, they help. Or they help you get away from the po po faster. :)

    :lolol: Don't encourage me. I own 20 some odd cars. Not ALL of them are Steeler themed.

    Ummm... yeah. I might have a problem. :roflmao: This is my main garage. The hot rod is my latest addition. I'm sensing a pattern here:

    I also have another garage meant only for off-road vehicles. Same theme. :lolol: And a third large garage for odd ball cars. That one has no "themed" cars. Just cars I like (but hardly ever drive)

    Such a great game, love it. I have Gamefly so I only had it for a few weeks then sent it back after I finished it, but there are so many things that can be done in that thing. I didn't even know about all those car customizations. I have played basically every GTA game since the first one. I'm glad they kind of went back to the old formula of the older games in terms of look and feel, after GTA 4.

    Yeah, GTA IV looked great. It was dark, gritty and super realistic, but I realized something after about 20 minutes of playing it. It wasn't any fun. Can't say why but I did not like it like the rest of the series. I have owned IV almost since it came out and have only played it 2 or 3 times to this day. Thankfully, GTAV went back to the more cartoonish, vibrant, colorful look of previous games, which works much better for that series to me.

    This one is so fun and I love flying planes. That was the best part for me.

    I used to have GTA5 with Xbox 360 but since I upgraded to Xbox one, I never bothered buying another copy since I would have to start from the begining and I refuse to purchase the right to play the same game I already owned. It was a fun game though.

    Well, I ended up buying anyway. And yeah, it's a ton of fun. I'm on Xbox One though.
