And that folks closes this thread. All the continued overpaying takes smaller market teams like us out of the picture. Today's athletes are prima donnas at least a good percentage of them are which in turn sends shockwaves positionally through the league. And that in turn lends to the uptick in pricing that is keeping some of us from attending so on and so forth.

i wish that I felt comfortable with all of the talk you hear about players appreciating this org and that org (ours most notably) enough to the point that you'd think the atmosphere and trophy case would be a huge lure, but I honestly think them days are done. atleast as far as the hyped athlete goes anymore.

Weve remained competitive and even stellar (trophy winners) in the scheme of things, but it seems it's getting increasingly harder.

Its a a two way street. Thankfully enough we don't shoot for the moon on A holes that demand it. However in that spirit, we can't/Don't offer it to those folks who come without the drama yet play the paycheck game.

This isn't solely on the hyperbole of landing Revis... It's a reality to all available. I hope we continue to be successful, but I see the scheme of the game being changed top to bottom. Hope we endure!
