I am definatley going for the induction, hell only two hours away for me. I wouldn't miss this induction(Bussy) for the world. It is a great day in the Steel City today. YIPPEE. Black and gold will take over Canton, It will be a cluster, with all the people attending.

 

I went the last time they played in it against the bucs. my wife won 4 tickets and two rooms for two nights hotel from the local grocery store drawing. pretty cool. I have been to the hall many times and to Fawcett stadium (ohio state high school playoffs and championships are played there as well as notre dame college games). it's a fun trip, a little over an hour for me. actually about the same as it takes me to get to the burgh. pretty crowded in the HOF that weekend though.

 

Give number 36 a uniform and pads one last time and there is no way they would lose.

 

I would love to go! wife says I have to find some else to go with, because she already will have taken too much vacation by then. Oh well, I have a little time to figure it out. Congrats Bus! HOF!

I am supposed to be in Buffalo at the end of July, was planning to drive down and catch some training camp. Maybe I can move the trip back a week or so and do both Latrobe and Canton!

 

This hasn't been confirmed yet...but they are saying theres a good chance they will.

 

Me and my family will be there!

 

Tickets to the game are hard to get, because the stadium only seats 30,000.

 

If I go it will be the most meaningful meaningless game I've ever been to.

Funny you should say that, because she is currently nursing a broken clavicle, the reason for the lack of vacation.

 

Just as an FYI, last year the participants were announced on February 27 +/- so we should know soon.

 

It's no less meaningless than any preseason game, and I've been to a few of those. Matter of fact, it is slightly less meaningless, because we would be generally celebrating Bussie going to hall, making it a better party. But it's over 1,000 miles away and I ain't travelling to podunk OH just for that; I will watch it on tv and that will be enough.

Unless the Bills and Giants are playing two years in a row, that is the 2014 game.

That is weird. But I can't find anywhere the Steelers are playing this year. It does say 2015

 

Yes it is an error. Either the year/etc was updated and the game wasn't (since they do not know the teams yet) or the website is automated to update certain info (dates) once the previous years date/etc passes or whatever.

Nothing has been confirmed by anyone/anywhere...and until it comes from the NFL's mouth it will continue to be speculation...but i would say almost 100% that it wont be the same game as last year.
