Just a thought...Ike TAylor

I know he internet is more prominent now, but I've been wondering what a highlight tape of Ike from his college days would look like?

 

You bet your friends you could find some idiot to waste 15 minutes looking for Ike's college highlights..didn't you? Well sorry, not gonna fall for it....nope not me.....................btw...if someone did try they wouldn't find anything...

 

I just spent 15 minutes looking at the picture under your board name.

 

Taylor was was academically ineligible to play football his first two years in college, was a tailback/kick returner in 2001 and played cornerback for only his senior season.

LOL, that would have been a good bet though. No, I was looking at the article on the FA rookie safety the Steelers signed and he had a highlight tape attached and it hit me, "Where's Ike's college highlights?"

 

Ike highlights would consist of him dropping ints.

 

Thanks, but I'll pass. No reason to go into the restaurant if you are on a diet. i'd feel like I was cheating on my wife, who coincidentally looks nothing like this young lady.

Apparently, he did get a reputation as a hard hitter. I am guessing he was an 'intangibles' pick that stuck.

I read somewhere when he was drafted that they had to simplify the playbook for him at RB. It ended up with three plays - Ike go right, Ike go left, Ike run up the middle. He averaged over 5 yards a carry and I don't think the writer was kidding about the play calling.
