Most likely, but it will depend on how drastic they change. I'd wager not very much.

It doesn't sound like he would, but there are those saying it would be a good idea. I disagree.

This makes me sad, DL deserves better than this.. You kno damn well he had more to do with winning the SB than Tomlin did!!!!!

Keith Butler has already moved into the office! He will be the next DC so don't even start throwing names around. Butler has had NUMEROUS chances to leave over the last several years, and has turned them all down. Could've been a DC already making more money, but stayed...... Says all you need to know. Butler will bring some new schemes for sure

I dont think we are thar far off from a 4-3. We would only be missing a RDE.

Mcclendon & tuitt @DT. Heyward at LDE.

Shazier as will, timmons as mike and jones as sam.

Weren't Timmons, Ziggy, Heyward, Shazier, and some more all products of a 4-3? I wasn't exactly saying that we have all 4-3 personnel but just that since Tomlin got here it seems that we've drafted quite a few guys that are products of it. I've always thought that Tomlin might have felt that IF it were gonna be DL's last season he was trying to sorta plan ahead for what system he wanted to install.

No, we haven't. 1st round draft pick 3-4 olb. 1st round draft pick 3-4 ilb. 2nd rd draft pick 3-4 de. 1st rd draft pick 3-4 de. We are not switching to a 4-3 it's nothing more than a fan's wet dream.

Also, something to think about, Tuitt, McCullers, McClendon, and Heyward make a nice front 4

He's 77 years old. Eventually everyone needs to be led out behind the barn.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that I WANT or HOPE we go to a new system but it really wouldn't surprise me if we are heading in that direction. Do you think we will perpetually be a 3-4 under Tomlin? I would prefer it but I don't think it will always be that way.

I don't WANT to switch to it. I've just always figured TOMLIN wanted to do it because he prefers that system. I would like to have a 3-4 forever.

I'm very grateful for all that the coach has done for the Steelers and the NFL. I'm only asking if this means the 10-yard cushion is retiring as well. It's gotten old too.

I think he'll end up a HC but it's worth considering if not.

You just don't like him because he's a foot guy. ;)

You keep making this claim about Tomlin which is nothing more than speculation.

Yeah but if all those guys are absolutely gone I just wonder who's gonna be the guy to step up and be the leader? I suspect Heyward honestly.

It's not speculation. When Mike Tomlin was hired he did a show called "Who is?" on NFL Network and in that show it talked about how Tomlin had to be willing to bend a little in his new job as a HC. It talked about how he had to stay with a 3-4 when he came here and literally said that he prefers the 4-3. That's why I say that. Maybe you can find that online and watch it. Or maybe I can find it and put a link to it or something.
