Penguins request NHL move game time up but are denied.

All of Pittsburgh's sports teams support each other so it is no surprise that the Pens asked the league to move theit Saturday night game to earlier in the day so as not to interfere with the Steelers playoff game and to allow fans to attend both. Unfortunately since their opponent is the Habs and the game is being broadcast by CBC and Hockey night in Canada the request was denied. Personally I'm sure that all parties involved could come up with a better solution. Broadcast the game early pre-empt schedule broadcast, book a second Canadian game for the 6:30 time slot and everyone wins

 

Just show the Steeler game on the center ice screen while the Pens are playing.
