I can't explain NFL officiating. I'm not justifying the call but I'm not surprised by it and see why it happened.

Why is holding, grabbing and interference a point of emphasis in the regular season then inconsistently applied in the regular season? How does Ngata break Ben's nose without getting called for a blow to the QB's head? This league (and most leagues for that matter) has too many complicated rules that get enforced inconsistently by guys that don't get any punishment for blowing simple plays.

But, a bang-bang play like that has a pretty good chance of getting called and it did. I don't like it but I won't lose any sleep over it.

They're bringing Jones around to the middle on that stunt, which is letting him get some pressure.

 

Well to be fair, Hoyer was the worst QB in the league the past month and was the reason the Browns lost to the Colts. It's not like the Browns had anything to lose by going to Manziel. They needed to see what they had in him.

Can't argue with your logic. Sucks it went against us,sucks and frustrating when Ben doesn't get the same treatment. I would have our guys just start bench pressing the QB off his feet and let him fly,see how they officiate that.
