Gave kudos to the Offense as he should. As they go so does this teams chances.

Said the run defense tightened up well and then talked about the big plays which he said this has to stop. Capitan Obvious.

Injury's to watch: Toast, James Harrison, Gilbert.

Then questions: He gave kudos to Blake and McCain and Tuitt. As he should.

Then said he appreciates Toast's contributions and he will be monitoring his injury this week and then said he might or might not be matched up against Julio Jones. What contributions Coach? I went ballistic.

Guess the Coach is looking for the hat trick. If Ike starts and or is matched up against Jones, both him and Lebeau are OUT of they're minds.

Who knows? Ike was horrible- again. No idea why he felt the need to say he appreciated his contributions.

Obviously the appropriate thing for a head coach to do is throw his players under the proverbial bus, make up cute yet derogatory names for them etc.. that's all it takes to build team chemistry and win games.

I think Tomlin makes decisions at times based on his personal feelings as opposed to ability. That's why he hangs on to veterans (and maybe assistant coaches) longer than he should and signs guys like Cam Thomas who, by all accounts, is a good guy. As a HC, you can't make decisions based on personal feelings. If I were Tomlin, I'd say to Cam Thomas, "I like you, Cam, but you're the biggest waste of a DL I've ever come across in my career". I may be way off base, but that's the perception I have of Tomlin. He has a problem pulling the trigger and making objective decisions on guys he likes personally and feels comfortable with. JMHOFWIW.

Ike has always seemed to bounce back after a bad game. for instance he looked bad against tenn and then played well against jimmy graham. I am not trying to say he doesn't suck. I am just gonna see if his pride can still carry him thru a game

Kenny Stills torched Ike in the NO game so I don't think it's accurate to say he bounced back.

He shouldn't even make the trip to Atlanta. He might sneak on the field.

When even the coach tries to sneak onto the field, you may have a point.

Ike has sucked for years. He didn't just get bad suddenly. There were enough quality caliber defenders on the field that covered a lot of his problems - namely a pass rush that didn't give teams time to target and go after him.

Played well? Jimmy didn't have a single target all game. It's not because Ike covered him that well. Look at Graham's last 4 games. He barely cracked 100 yards combined in his last 4 games, and he only had 6 receptions. Graham is injured, which is the only reason he didn't light us up. If he was even remotely healthy, he would have torched Ike all game long. You can't say Ike had a good game when he covered an injured TE who didn't get a single target.

Ike hasn't bounced back at all this year because he's been terrible every time he's been on the field. Watching him run at maybe 60% while trying to catch AJG was downright embarrassing. The guy wasn't even trying. No player should be able to half ass it like that and see the field again. Where's the pride?
