He's going to be reinstated by the NFL and will be a free agent would you take a chance on him a 6'4 220 lb CB. He has some baggage I think he has been suspended twice by the league for PED and substance abuse. The Seahawks didn't miss him they won the Super Bowl without him. I would take a chance on him with a 1yr deal.

Definitely would give him a one year prove yourself contract.

Doesn't sound like he fits Steelers criteria to me. He's had issues with testing as far back as 2006 and he recently failed two drug tests, one of which was in December. Although he seems to being saying all of the right things now, with his history I can see him returning to his same ol ways in no time.

It also appears that part of his reinstatement includes suspended games in the 2014 season so.......

Yep, don't expect to see any problem players on the Steelers roster any time soon, Rooneys are done with players tarnishing their franchise.

Gonna have to agree here. Not interested at all. I am usually one for giving character issue guys a shot if it wont cost that much, but there is very little upside in Browner's game in our system.

If Browner is taking drugs he isnt hurting anyone but himself. Who cares?

Browner might get suspended but thats what will lower his price.

I love how Browner plays. Most physical corner in the NFL.

Hurts the team when he gets suspended again and also if he's causing any trouble in the locker room. Steelers wont touch him.

I haven't seen him play in a scheme that's similar to ours, so it's hard to say how well he would fit in on the field. I definitely don't like bringing a guy like that into the locker room.

    Whatever.

People cite Browner's drug test fail in 2006 as an early character issue. It was for pot... in Denver.

It is now legal to smoke pot in Denver.

"Dont bring in Browner! He smokes pot! He will be a bad influence on our choir boys!"

One of the 10 best corners in the league. Awesome player. Some lucky team will get him.

Steelers only want players with unblemished records... like Roethlisberger the face of the franchise.

I'd take a team full of selfless players like Troy and Heath as opposed to selfish players like Browner who can't control their urges and hurt their teams.

Hyperbole much? I'm pretty sure everyone was simply referencing his lousy record of personal choices he's made. He isn't doing any team any favors by sitting on the sideline suspended because he wants to continually do something that is not allowed.

And although pot may now be legal in Colorado it's not permitted in the NFL. Sorry.

I agree the Steelers won't touch him but if he comes with very low cost give him a shot. I wouldn't pencil him as a starter but with our STRONG locker room and coach i think he might straighten up. Or he'll go to the Patriots.
