with all this talk about worilds and how much it would cost to keep him, would sanders be cheaper to keep? I like both but in this draft I think worilds could be just as replaceable.

I will be happy to see Sanders leave. Drops drops drops. Worilds on the other hand got hot last year. Since they play different positions on different sides of the ball I don't think it matters who would be cheaper. Its more about needs. There are players already on the team that can replace Sanders production. There isn't much else at OLB other than Jones, the oft-injured Woodley, and Worilds. So I would say keep Worilds if they can get him to sign cheap enough where they can afford it.

I am fine with Sanders moving on. He's a decent WR, but I wouldn't want him back at anything more than last year's 1 year, 2.5 million contract. I'd like to keep Worilds, but I would be really, really careful about the dollars. He played really well last year, but that play was 4 years in the making, and he has a history of getting injured. If someone is going to overpay him, I'm fine with letting him walk. I haven't figured out yet what I think he's worth, but it's not "star" money to be sure.

When it comes to Sanders, I have no problem with him leaving. I would have let him leave last offseason and gotten the pick, but I wasn't running things. He is an average WR IMO.

Worilds I have mixed feelings about. I think the only way we can afford to keep him is to cut Woodley. That could be okay if the assessment of the players is correct. In other words, it would be horrible to cut Woodley, have Worilds be very bad, and have Woodley go somewhere else and turn back into the player from 4 years ago.

That being said, I don't see any way that we can justify overpaying him. I think he has talent, but I don't want to pay him a crazy number and be wrong. That would really cost us.

The Steelers aren't interested in bringing back Sanders let some other team overpay for him.
