One of the reasons Art Rooney II wanted to get rid of Arians was because Ben played too much of that school yard football, he would hold the ball forever and take some vicious hits. Ben does get rid of the ball quicker and takes less hits. I can't remember the last time Ben played a full season without getting injured, and them going to the no huddle a lot in the second half of the season helped him make quicker decisions. I hope they bring Haley back next season.

I think the only way Haley won't be here is if he is lured away to a HC job. The offense has been playing really well, can't see anyway he is let go now, nor should he be, it will only set things back implementing a new offense. They should be running the no huddle almost exclusively though, the offense does much better when they run it. For some reason, they weren't using it much in Cleveland and only put up 20 points. Ben has a great feel for the game, let him run it.

Haley and Ben have been an awesome combo. The only exception being when Ben came back from injury at the end of the 12 season and was playing wreckless. Sure Ben struggled early in the season but it was due to the fact the O line was so desimated. With Bell blossoming into a good power back all this offense needs is that big physical WR/TE that can stretch the field and go up and get the ball.

Yeah, I think the o-line problems in '12 forced Ben to scramble around like a madman and he wasn't able to execute the plays that were called. With protection and the no-huddle he is able to execute the play the way it should be executed.

Can't see Haley going anywhere. I don't think one good year as an OC (actually only a good 3/4 of a year) will make him a candidate to be a HC somewhere else.

Wasn't a fan of getting rid of BA, it was lonely, but I have seen a change in Ben's game this year.

True, but he still displays that school yard football. But obviously it works for him!

Yes, Ben started slow and part of it was the offensive line, but part of it was that it looked like Ben was out of sink with the receivers. Yes it did get better latter, but we need to start the season in sink with your receivers and not grow into it.

It looked like we were unprepared to start the season and not sure it is all coaching or the players but something is lacking during the start of the season.

Ben and the offense looked like they didn't do anything in the off season or preseason and it that showed up big time at the start of the season.

Just hope that they see this and do something about it and not repeat this next season.

sealing up the left tackle hole helped his game more then anything. velasco and then Wallace sealed up and worked well with the guards in pass protection. maybe not well but near the best pocket ben has seen in a long time. he was able to step up and throw and move around in the pocket. he is deadly when that can happen. I think it was more that then anything the offense brought. any qb can execute if they have time. the line helped that this year.

They didn't have their Starting Rb, Starting TE, Lost Their #1 all -pro center a handful of plays in, coupled with having the youngest starting offensive line in the league, was all part of it..
