The issue is, as I hope someone mentioned already, is that you take a knee, twice, at 2nd and goal at the 1 and then kick the chipshot with no time left.

I think Tomlin handled it correctly,but Suisham needs to put that through the end zone it didn't even look like he tried. You don't even chance a return,you make em earn it.

 

Simple clock mgt...end of 1st half and last poss. and this aint the first time. Mike sucks at clock mgt!!

 

I am starting to think some of these young'ins can play. bell, worilds, woods, even carter made some plays. Williams is gonna be a solid backer I think. great win. I still think we come up a little short but this team hasn't quit like most teams do. for you tomlin bashers, credit the coaches for keeping this team in it

 

to further elaborate, this was a nice xmas gift for us, from a team that should have quit but hasn't. I don't expect all the wheels to turn for them next week, but for them to be playing a meaningful game in week 17 seemed unthinkable at mid season, or even 2 weeks ago. Cripes.

Yeah you are right, that issue needs to be fixed.

 

Baltimore at Cincy - 1pm, Jets at Dolphins - 1pm, KC at Chargers - 4:25pm. if Baltimore & Miami lose & Steelers win, that 4pm game in San Diego is going drive me crazy waiting

If you have a 99% chance of winning by taking the clock down to 3 seconds and kicking a field goal with no time, but only an 80% chance of winning by scoring the touchdown (or whatever), wouldn't you take the 99?
