I still think Bernard will be great. I had my doubts about this year, but in the future. We know Rodgers doesn't like using rookies , thats his history

I said back in the day that would change when Ben left.
Hell go look at how good DJ, and Claypool looked with Ben, and how bad they got after he left

People love Mason so much they want to write off a young promising QB after two preseason games based on two interceptions that you can clearly see were a result of Wilson running bad routes.

I like Rudolph as a person but cant wait until he is gone because damn his fan base is annoying AF.

Pickens has done better with Cowboys/Prescott than he did with Steelers QB carousel from 2022-2024.

This is exactly why it's wasteful to spend big money on WRs when you have a very good QB. Because guys like Ben make WRs better than they are.

So it's better to use the money on positions like OL and across the D. And let the QB be the "force multiplier" for the skill position guys.

FWIW, I think this is why CINCY is kind of broken. It's hard to let guys like Chase and Higgins go when you're the team that drafted them. But I just don't think you can sink that much cap space into WR when you have one of the more expensive QBs in the league.

I guess the counter argument is that you need to keep the very good to elite players that you have on your roster. And overpaying defensive players who aren't great doesn't make your team better. Just like we wouldn't have had a better team if we used more cap space on O by signing guys like Dan Moore.

I don't blame the Bengals for keeping Chase he's a top 10 WR, instead of paying Higgins should've spent on the OL or defense.

Twice in his career Mason has been handed the starting QB job. Once when Ben got hurt in game #2 the job was Mason's job to lose for the rest of the season. But only a few weeks he did lose his job to Duck Hodges. Then because Will Levis was so bad the Titans named Rudolph the starter for the rest of the year. But after losing 5 out of 6 games and throwing 9 picks during those 6 games, the Titans had no choice but go back to the moribund Will Levis.

I read on X that Steelers are exploring getting a WR in trade and offloading Wilson....according to 'Insider.'
