And neither does any of your posts about Tomlin . Just because I push back on here, I don't care about Tomlin since he's not the HC anymore, I don't follow him on social media and didn't watch him on NBC pregame .

Actually, most exes in general, not just sports.

That's what Im getting at, and I have never been that way.
Rid Woodson would be the closest I've ever been, and I didn't mind him going to 49ers as a CB, but it pissed me off when he went to the Ravens to play Safety like we already tried to get him to do

    A) you cant even come up with your own jokes
    B) you dont even use the analogy correctly
    C) you are full of it, you are ridiculously sensitive and protective of him
    D) zip it or I’ll shrink that obnoxiously large sig.

    I promise I didn't.
I know some of you must dislike the old to love the new. I never have.
I watched people do the exact same thing to Cowher when Tomlin was hired in, and I didn't understand it then, like I don't understand it now.

See Woodson was worse for me.
    1. He was a DB
    2. He never won anything here.
    3. We wanted hin to play safety here, and he wouldn't, and then won a SB playing safety for the freaking Ravens.
    4. At least Franco helped win SBs for us.

Woodson leaving didn’t bother me as much
Woodson already was on the downside of his career
    No longer a good cb
Yes he should’ve stayed and played S like he eventually did with the Ravens

Of course it doesn't make any sense to you. He's the one with the obsession, so he thinks other people's brains work the same way.

He thinks he is somehow hurting you by criticizing and making fun of Mike McCarthy because he gets butthurt at ANYTHING negative said about Tomlin.

I really like Mike Tomlin. I liked him at the beginning when he was hired and successful. I liked him in the middle when it seemed like he was close, but had some bad luck and couldn't get it done and underperformed in big moments. I liked him after Ben was injured and the team became this very hard to watch version that became more and more his vision of playing football.

I never stopped liking Mike Tomlin.

I stopped liking how he was coaching the team. I stopped believing that his approach to the game was keeping up with more sophisticated and creative offenses. I stopped believing that he could create good gameplans for a playoff game. I stopped believing that he was capable of leading the team to future success because he stagnated, had bad assistant coaches, and seemed to micromanage far too much of the team. The defense was his baby. That was his side of the ball. The defense continuously let them down in the playoffs, yet he coached everything around the defense being dominant and carrying the team. He never adjusted how he played the game.

It wasn't personal...at least for me. I'll always like Mike Tomlin and I appreciate everything he did while he was with the Steelers. He was a very good coach for a long time, but the game evolved and Tomlin didn't. It was time for him to go.

I wasn't happy when Tomlin left. Part of me was sad because I like him and respected him so much. But I knew that the team needed a new direction. I believe that's how most Steelers fans feel about the situation. At least I hope so.

I was a Tomlin supporter longer than I have been a Tomlin detractor. Sooner or later you have to point the finger at the guy in charge.

Some of us don't understand why You can't love what McCarthy is doing without hating on Tomlin.
I don't know Your handle from the old board, but if I was to bet, I would bet you were one of the people who started downing Cowher as soon as Tomlin was hired. I know for a fact there were many of them, and I couldn't understand it then. If you weren't then I apologize, but many were, just like many are doing now.
I do know some people just have to be that way. I see it all the time with people. Im just not wired that way.

But I have and others have, we post things with no mention of Tomlin at all and you still push back :lolol:

Loved Cowher as a coach but was still excited for change but wasnt down on him like I am with Tomlin. Two entirely different situations, Cowher just won a SB and Tomlin hasnt won a playoff game in 10 years so naturally negative feelings are going to be attached to the later.

Do I think KFP would’ve been better if they waited a few years?
    Not sure
He looked fundamentally lost in the pocket
    But
They did toss him into the fire
    No argument there
Plus KFP like Bo Nix was 40 coming out of college
