I checked it out, thinking it was Nicks or Christine McVie but it was all done by Lindsey using multi track pitch modulators or something to that effect. Supposedly written specifically for the movie. Perfect upbeat song for this classic flick. Poor Aunt Edna. LOL!

Yeah I can hear its all Buckingham, except for the female parts. I have broken this song down before, because I couldn't figure out what it was about it that I Loved so much.
Im strange like that sometimes. I blame my lifetime of OCD

I also heard that on Little Lies that Lindsey sings the high backing notes and Nicks does the lower ones. Not surprising really as she (IMO) lost her voice mid way through their peak period and kind of grunted her way as time went on. I expected Lindsey to do really well when he broke out as a solo with his great singing, playing and writing but it never really materialized from what I can tell. Something about the chemistry and magic of musical partnerships.

Hell Buckingham can sing very high. I think He has a lot of wonderful stuff outside of them.
I believe I've posted a few videos of his solo stuff before.
I also have a DVD of him in concert from around 2008. Im a huge fan of his.

I have that DVD as well and like it. I suppose I mean he didn't seem to have any of the commercial success that FWM had but then the whole landscape was changing after their prominence and he may have chosen a lower profile. Is his finger picking style all that rare with the good players vs using picks? It always impressed me.

    Mmmmm:hmm:
I don't know about rare, its kinda rare for the genre he played at one time.
I have never understood the put the pick down to finger pick stuff. I do a both approach, like a Brent Hinds, or a E. Johnston , Chet Adkins, and others. I use a pick, and 3 fingers, and I can go back, and forth. I actually thought I came up with it. LoL, and then I noticed some of the guys I mentioned doing the same, but most guy do one , or the other which is weird to me.
Example: Watch My right Hand/picking hand. This way You can switch from one to the other efficiently without having to put the pick down, and picking it back up, and can play multiple styles.

Can't be. There are women singing high harmony with him when he is singing high harmony.

Doesn't change a man's voice into a woman's, unless he was using AI way back then. LoL. I promise some woman is also sing backups at times on the tracks. Yes Buckingham is doing the high parts, but so is there a woman singing on , and off throughout the song

Dude everyone layers their records. Its called multi track for a reason. You need to read the bottom where its says AI is not always right, and needs to be checked. Layered vocals don't change a man vocals into a woman's.
I will bet money if its really dug into, you will find he had a female singer on it. The highest male singers still sound like a man singing high, and I hear when he even sings higher than the female on the tune.

You’re missing the part where they used pitch correction on his voice
