    DK Metcalf – 2025 (Steelers)

Played 15 games (suspended the final two for an on-field altercation with a fan).
59 catches on 99 targets for 850 yards (14.4 YPC) , with Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball!

    George Pickens – 2024 (Steelers)
    Appeared in 14 games.
59 receptions for 900 yards (15.3–15.4 YPC) a with Wilson / Fields (now out of the NFL and the other a back ) as the primary quarterback.

The obvious takeaway: DK had the better quarterback, but produced less yardage and was clearly the bigger distraction.

Those are the facts. Now we can compare Pickens 2025 with DK's 2025, if you are game.

How many catches and yards would Pickens get on the 2025 Steelers. More that DK had in 2025 is the answer. Unless of course you fell that Canada was a better OC than Smith! So DK had the QB and OC edge yet he was outproduced.

You know nothing...It was Justin Fields,Russell Wilson the QBs in 2024,not Kenny....And Rodgers had the lowest air yards per pass attempts and by completion in the NFL last season....It was a dink and dunk offense by a extreme level.Russell Wilson was at least above league average in those stats in 2024 and he was not afraid to take a hit and throw deep

That's all Wilson could do was throw the moon ball but even that went away by the end of that season.

None of that matters, I showed you DK’s targets last year, Pickens would have gotten less.

In 2024, George Pickens was targeted 108 times (7.36 per game) with the Steelers. He caught 64 of them for 987 receiving yards. He also led the entire NFL in deep targets (20+ yards), posting an elite 99.9 receiving grade with 17 deep catches for 577 yards.

By comparison, DK Metcalf with what many call a better QB and a better offensive coordinator-posted 59 receptions on 99 targets for 850 yards
in the 2025 regular season with Pittsburgh.

So you thoughts that Pickens “wouldn’t get enough targets” from the 2025 Steelers offense feels like a real reach. I’m sure we’ll agree on plenty of other topics, but I’ll stop posting about this point in this thread and let you have the last word.

Again, we are talking about last season. I’ve pointed out DKs targets several times now and you keep ignoring it. Dont where you think those targets would have come from to feed Pickens. Our offense and Dallas’ is light years apart.

Doesn't matter what anybody thinks Pickens would have caught statistically last season if he stayed. He wasn't going to play well because of his attitude if he did.

I bet 40 years ago if it was just an American ranking it wouldn't be that low. I can remember as a youth many people drinking it back then, along with Ole Milwaukee.

I can't remember, did Dallas sign him to a long term contract this year, or did Dallas only offer him a one year franchise tender???

But I bet 40 years ago the ranking was different. Because then I seen a lot of people drinking it. Today I don't know anyone that drinks either of them.

I didn't remember, or I never paid attention to him in that. I do remember him in the barbershop.
