I tried telling people this, but you can't argue with what people don't understand. The whole , they do the same things made me laugh so hard.

I get out of my depth a bunch trying to understand what I’m seeing on Sundays. Never played a second of organized football in my life. So much that I don’t know enough about. Doesn’t stop me from bashing out things on the internet about football. So I’m never gonna discourage someone from talking about the Steelers.

But there’s like a handful of repeated claims about the Steelers that get recycled over and over again. There’s widely available data that appears to completely disprove them. But they get repeated again and again on the big wide Steelers internet. Those do get my goat.

A previous favorite was how no other team stuck LBers on WRs. Decided to count it up on Sunday just based on the games on my TV coverage. Think I stopped counting at like 10 instances.

LoL. I used to point it out in the game day thread everytime we would do it to someone else, and then crickets.

Yeah....They were way too predicable in the first 3 months of the season. They were better after the Bills game for the rest of the season but before that,it was so bad

They were beat too often before the snap and the pass rush of the steelers had no chance...The first game vs bengals is the best example

sure LB'ers cover WR's at times. near the LOS to shorter coverage usually with some type of help near. not 30-40 yards downfield one on one. that is a recipe for disaster. usually means someone was out of position at the time. not a design that will win you much.
