    Rodgers wasn't a great downfield passer last season. While he was near NFL average on long attempts, his completion % was well below.
    Some blame maybe on the receivers but I recall some wtf throws as well.

    Yep

    Although some wtf throws were the receivers not being where they should be

    Yeah our #2 wideout last year was Calvin Austin. I thought he did a good job in his role as #4 WR and punt returner but when you're forced to have someone like Austin as your #2 WR then any QB is playing with a big handicap.

    Roger's play last year was far below average and there's a multitude of reasons why.
    Still, there's no getting around the fact that Roger's is soon to be 43.
    His arm and mind are still sharp, but his body isn't were it was.
    Things we don't want to see when he's behind center.
    * a Leaky line with rushers in Roger's face right away.
    * Rogers on the run, he's not so good at it anymore.
    * An ineffective ground game.

    Thing we want to see when he's behind center.
    * Good pass blocking with RB's that can pick up blocks
    * WR's wining off the line of scrimmage.
    * A solid ground game..
    * The deep drop and bomb passes on the occasion.
    * A clean uniform at the end of the game for Rogers....
    If this doesn't happen, Rogers will probably get injured and you will see Allar/Howard.

    Overall, if we can take care of Rogers, I think we'll see a better QB performance though he won't lead the league by any means... at best maybe 10-20 ranking (being optimistic) likely
    around 25th.

    That's what Im getting at. Not many top Qbs in the NFL could beat Rodgers out of a Training Camp situation, and yet people think that Mason,and our two other Qbs that have never taken a snap in a NFL game have a chance of trying to beat him out.
