Sorry, I don't get the reference. Is it from a tv show?

When one has to "explain" it is a humor fail. My bad.
    This might help.

So apparently from this little exercise, the majority of people did not in fact feel Woodson was better than Blount. Huh.

I would never say Rod Woodson because he went to the:boorats:and MR. Blount is Hall of Fame SUPER STEELER Rod should have quit or retired a Steeler --Ward didn't go there

Rod going to the Ravens was one of the most difficult things for me in sports.

Not speaking for scribe, but a close friend went to school with him at Purdue. According to him some things of value disappeared and Woodson was the most llikely suspect.

Blount was built like and hit like a linebacker, but played cornerback. The game was changed because of Blount. If not for that Woodson might not have been a cb

And he didn't miss a beat after the rule change which was intended to slow him down.

I love Rod but hard to forgive him giving up the opening bomb that set up the 2yard TD in the fog bowl that just set the tone and we never recovered. Mel always played great in the playoffs!! Rod gambled a bit on the field and yes had 12 TD returns but he gave up the big play many times.

I burned his AFC pro bowl jersey when he did. LoL. I wish now I hadn't. I was fine with him going to 49ers, but not to the Ravens, and playing Safety like we tried to get him to.

Hmm 43 votes is not much of an example out of thousands of people .
I can find many rankings of Woodson over Mel. Which should be wrong. Hmm:hmm:
No ranking should have Woodson over Blount, never.

What you made up was Blount is underrated, thats hysterical. We are talking about Steeler fans, not national media rankings.

As this polls shows, he is most certainly not underrated or the results would be reversed.

I can show you Steelers sights with Rod ranked higher than Blount, and IMO makes him underrated . How a CB who forced the NFL to change rules, still kicked a$$, and won 4 SBs is behind a CB that never won a SB as a CB, but as a Safety on a different team is completely beyond me.

Being an older fan and having had the pleasure of watching both play their entire careers, I simply have to go with Blount. All the reasons for my choice have been stated upthread by many others.

In my mind only, it's not even a close choice either. Loved Rod, but there is only one choice for me.

Blount, retired a Steelers, as it should be.

    Right as rain.

As much as I like Blount, it's Woodson that was the best CB. Blount would be #2.

Woodson was great for us for sure even if he went to the hated crows. He tested FA due to a contract dispute. He wanted 5 years and they were only offering 3 and gave him little time to make a decision. I wonder if they met him in the middle at 4 years if things would have changed?

One of his weakness to be was being faked out by the double pump.
