Name two teams that made the playoffs in 2025 but won't in 2026

It's hard to say the Texans. Only a dumb HC is going to have a terrible season with that Defense, and I don't think their HC is stupid

I think the Steelers are going to be a not very good football team in 2026 or at least not much better than in 2025. They barely got in in 2025. Stronger efforts by the Ravens and Bengals squeeze them out.

The Chargers likley get squeezed out by a revitalized Chiefs squad

 

One of my buddies who is a born KC fan has me thinking they may not be back yet. They didn't fix that line, Mahomes is coming back from a pretty significant injury, and they really don't have any weapons. We shall see, but he's worried. LoL

 

I don't know what to expect from the Chiefs this year... They could be back to be a contender since I don't think they'll be 1-9 in one-score games like last year (they were also 11-0 in one-score games in 2024, which was crazy!). But at the same time, it's always difficult for a QB in his first year after a torn ACL... I think they'll make the playoffs, but as a wild card, Denver or the Chargers will win the AFC West in my opinion.

 

Every team's fanbase should be worried at this point. Tons of questions across the league.

Chiefs might not be back....but Chargers have more question marks.

Those are the teams you say will make the playoffs?? If so I agree with Bengals, and the Texans. I'm not sure about the rest. I really don't see Pats making it this year. Bills , and Ravens have different HCs, so I need to see them 1st, like us, and the Broncos I only like them because of their D. I think this maybe the most unique ,or seemingly unknown season I can remember in awhile.

 

It is a "weird" year in that you have annual playoff contenders with new head coaches and a handful of teams that need to prove they were not just a flash in the pan with a weak schedule.

Yeah the Pats could fail to even have a winning record this year with the schedule and Vrabel's indiscretions. When they used to announce Dianna Russini as the "Patriot Insider". I think they were trying to tell us that there was a Patriot inside her,lol.

I think you are all crazy with the Chargers talk. 11-6 in 2025.

Harbaugh's 2nd year, and now he brings in Offensive Guru Mike McDaniel, things have never looked better for this team. I can definitely see them playing in the AFC Championship game this year.

Another tough schedule though especially in the second half of the season, and Rodgers is a year older and will be 43 during the season.
