Some of You people still have a problem with how different Qb see the field differently, and throw to different people. As far as the TEs go I have showed this over , and over the Difference in there targets fluctuate with the different Qbs on the field, and yet the same HC, and Ocs on the sidelines. It's a Qb thing. Nobody is telling the Qb, only throw it there.

 

I don't think he can do worse than Smith did.

 

Does not explain why Smith was outsnapping Muth until the very end. If Muth isn't on the field it's real hard to get a target.

 

Wasn't what I was getting at, but I agree, what I'm getting at is who is getting thrown to when on the field.

 

For anyone thought PF wasn’t in the Steelers long term plans they just restructured his contract turning his salary into a signing bonus

Speaking of TEs, Ima bet Muth+Darnell break 1000 yds this season if they stay healthy. MM knows how to use TEs and they are all the rage now in the NFL.
