We dont know if our two young Qb’s are any good at all.

and Cam and TJ are getting old,

O line has talent but is young and hasnt solidified itself.

completely new coaching staff with more emphasis on offense.

    our starting Qb is 43.

its going to be a rocky year. Hopeful nonetheless.

No. I respect what Willis has been able to do with his limited opportunities so far, and kudos to him for turning that into $$$. However he’s still a “one-read and go” type of QB, and a guy like that is a nagging lower body injury away from being able to even play the position. The offense would need to be geared around his legs as a primary weapon.

Willis has never started against a defense in the top half of the league. But let's pay the man $25M to see what he can do.

No Heidenreich? I'd much rather see him converted to receiver than keep a practice-squad scrub like Perry.

There is no way they are keeping Mason Rudolph as the the 3rd team QB over Drew Allar.

A 3rd round pick and all the effort they are putting into him Allar will be on the team

And practice squad is not a thought

QB just due to aging I view it as the same/worse than last year. He can certainly outplay his age, but he can also look his age like last season. The key to this season is Rodgers outplaying his age more often than not, and a major link to this is the growth of the OL. I think there's a ton more of hope than reality when looking at a 42 year old QB. Against playoff teams he looked his age more often than not and the team went 1-5 in those games. Not saying he can't/won't outplay his age, but it's still more hopefulness than reality, until it becomes reality.

RB I kinda like this room. Kaleb is an intriguing game moving forward with a more competent scheme and a different set of eyes. The problem with this room is there's two incredibly good #2s and no #1s. If Kaleb steps up, this room can become elite.

WR certainly better than last year. But a limited QB pass chart could end up being more of the same as the past few seasons. Germie could have an immediate impact in such a limited sphere and do great. Roman looks to be the odd man out. I liked the kid's potential, I just don't know what happened. Hopefully he has a great camp and steps up.

TE I like this room and it's potential.

OL... bold prediction time: Brod steps up and becomes the player they've drafted him to become. Due to that our OL moving forward is this (L->R) Brod, Troy, Zach, Gunner, Max with McCormick being a swing G.

Outside of QB, I do see an improved lineup. QB play will make or break the season.

DL I see Harmon progressing and Benton playing better in a better scheme. The younger pieces should be able to help give Heyward breaks.

Edge not much to say here.

ILB I think a better scheme will help Queen tremendously, I just don't think Wilson is a good partner tho with Holcomb and Harrison not being better alternatives.

CB should certainly be improved with Asante being a WC for a comeback player of the year if he refinds his game. Dean is certainly a quality fallback option if Asante just can't get it going.

S Brisker and Elliott should be an interesting pairing, especially against the run but ehh ok against the pass. But the WC of this defense is Ramsey becoming a quality FS or not.

There's weaknesses on this defense, but it's up to Graham to hide those weaknesses.

I kinda expect a defense that's ranked somewhere between 10 & 15 this year. If Yahya, Benton and Harmon have growth spurts in their game, I can see it creeping higher. The DL needs bout one more piece, even if that piece is an upgraded depth piece, this offseason.

I don't know if this is the best team, but definitely the most interesting we've seen in years. I don't expect the 2026 team to be a contender, I'm more interested in seeing promise for 2027 and beyond. Since Ben retired, and even for a couple of years before, this team was consistently okay. The team has shown the ability to win games, but at no point have we seen any hint of a team that could be a contender. That's what I want to see. I'm not as interested in the record, or playoffs - which came down to a missed field goal in 2025. Let's see something, anything that shows promise for the future, and I'll know that the team is headed in the right direction.

This is not bad, but I'm not sure about a couple of your points.

Dowdle ran for over 1,000 yards the last two seasons. He was 14th in the league in rushing in 2025 with 1,076 yards and a 4.6-yard average per carry. That is more yards and the same average per carry as Kenneth Walker. How is that not a No. 1?

I don't think they signed Dean to be a fallback option. They signed him to start.

As for Dean vs Samuel, I see it like this: if Samuel refinds his form, he's the best CB on this roster, but that's a big IF.

And as for RB, perhaps I'm looking at from the wrong lense here, but a true RB1 will get you 80+ yards per game whereas Dowdle is getting a solid 65-70 per game. He's a solid back nonetheless. With the exception of the 3 games he went for 100+, with a 200 yard game in there, he averaged less than 40 yards per game.
