A fun look at the AFCN QB history:

The Browns haven't had an elite QB since Otto Graham.

 

The Bears too, although Celeb Williams is beginning to show some promise.

 

It will change under Ben Johnson.The problem that Williams(making routine play more often) has right now is correctable

 

depends on whether you start at the top or the bottom! Guess we know where the Browns started

 

Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield both seem to agree.

Art Modell really screwed that team over in more ways than one.

 

They are only including week 1 starters. Russ wasn't our week 1 starter, Fields was that season.

 

but not with the Browns

 

I mean, if you purposely tried to be that awful picking a QB I'm not sure you could do worse than the Browns

 

Brian Sipe was pretty good, NFL MVP in 1980.

 

Brian Sipe and Bernie Kosar were both pretty good, but Otto Graham was the only great QB that the Browns ever had. I guess the Steelers are lucky in comparison to have two great ones, Bradshaw and Roethlisberger.

 

Yep we got it right twice, the stains

But he did more for the NFL being what it is than anyone

Otto Graham is in the top 5 QB's of all time. His won loss record is insane, 105-17-4.

I’ve told you a million times not to exaggerate

 

Nope 105-17-4. He played 10 seasons obviously he won more than 57 games, that's only 5.7 a season.

 

What, no Jim Miller? No Kent Graham?

 

What's even more impressive, Graham made it to the league championship game all 10 years he was the QB for the Browns, winning 7 of them (4 in the AAFC, and 3 in the NFL). He even won a NBL Championship with the Rochester Royals in 1946.
