Just use ship instead of sh it. Everyone will know what you meant and the results are funny sometimes. As in, “Pirates’ bullpen has a shipload of problems in San Fran”.

Frigging ALC has a team at .500 leading the division and the ALW leader is 1 game over .500.

5 of the top 10 payroll teams are under .500 at the moment. The Mets paying a whole lot for bad.

5 of the bottom 10 payroll teams are over .500 at the moment. Get em Bucs.

This will change by September I'm sure.

 

And such a frustrating loss Sunday (albeit, they all are). But the O kept pounding away and pulling ahead, only to have the relievers issue walks, HBP and untimely doubles. Montgomery and Soto were lights out as usual but the rest of them stink royalty and to the lowly last place 10 games under .500 Giants who had been easy pickings for the rest of the league. However, .500 on a west coast swing is not bad for a Pittsburgh team, all who regularly get creamed on the left coast. Was surprised to read though that the Bucs are the only team in MLB, other than the billion dollar payroll Dodgers, who have a winning record at the new SF Candlestick Park. Saw an article that posed that they should try and reclaim Chapman from Bean Town. He's having a great year so far and was pretty solid when he was a Buc a few years back. OK, rant over, for now.

My Phillie friends were b!tching and moaning at start of season but I knew with that staff they'd get a lot better.

 

Hernandez is a great prospect, but he is in low A ball. He's nowhere near getting called up.

 

That would take spending money. This team could actually be decent, but they need help. The Pirates can't spend every time, but years like this one are when they should be doing it. Skenes is special. Griffin is starting to show why he is going to be special, too. They need to not waste talent like that.

 

I know I shouldn't but I'm counting on a sweep of the Rockies and we still have 2 games to go. Keller tonight. I feel good about our chances. Then Mlodzinski goes for the day game.

My mortal enemies come into the Burgh for the weekend. To counter attack I'll be in Philly for the weekend. Wife wants to see the play, Chicago. I'm guessing the color red will be dominate in PNC My current sports fantasy, Skenes no-hits them. A man can dream. I know most in one group of Phillie fans headed up to the Burgh. Please let them be disappointed as I am most of the time when I go to games in Philly.
