Good thing we drafted our 4th string QB in the 3rd round.

I've seen a few social media posts saying this too. That he's coming to Pittsburgh and expected to sign this weekend.

Mixed feelings about it. But I think his game-week work ethic/preparation is good for the rookies to see and learn from. So, I'll take it as a positive. And I'd rather him start over Rudolph.

I thought you were asking for the link. You said you only saw this reported in this thread. Or that's how I understood your post. Just providing the link.

I have no idea if this is true or not.

Was just reading a article claiming this so I came here to see if there was any talk about it. First piece of disappointing news I've seen since McCarthy took over. That is besides the steelers being strung along by Rogers in the first place. Trying to see the positive in this if he does come back and the only thing I have is the young guys learning under him if he's willing to mentor them. Honestly I just want him to go away, sick of distractions and drama in the burgh and that follows Aaron everywhere he goes. But if he takes up deep into the playoffs or to the superbowl all will be forgotten since winning cures about everything.

Yeah, worst part is will this mean they wont take one next year since they wont have any real game action to judge Howard or Allar.

What do they do if that QB class is everything it’s hyped up to be.

    AR, MR, and Allar,

thats my prediction for the Qb room. Howard on PS. They’re not going to have old man Rodgers and two rookies in the Qb room. They’ll need a little more vet experience.

You take a QB when you want one, not when you need one. I think I heard that somewhere.
If a QB falls to your pick that you absolutely want, shouldn't matter how many rookie contracts you have in the QB room. You draft the QB. Obviously, that's my opinion.

I don't think it means that at all. Now it could be harder to draft the one you want because the Steelers may not stink with Rodgers. But there is no guarantee that Howard or Allar stink bad enough to draft high.

Besides...maybe McCarthy has an axe to grind and is going to pull the old Aaron Glenn move on him!
