Watching GMFB and they are talking about Eli, I might just be getting caught up in the excitement but man I think we got a player. I wanted Skattebo last season, looks like we got our version this year. That might be a more fair comp than the CMC ones they are making but if he lives up to those, hell that would be great.

On an aside, they move onto highlighting Uar Bernard a DL the Eagle picked, holy **** this guy is sculpted from granite. Feel bad for anyone that gets hit by that.

    Bernard is 6' 4" 306 lbs, ran a 4.63 40-yard dash, had a 39 in vertical, and a broad jump of 10'-10".

To put this dude into perspective, he weighs 40 lbs more than Myles Garrett and is faster than him. He is an absolute physical freak.

Letting Porter get away would be incredibly stupid.

Scott is a much better player than Everette and both would fill needs. I'm not suggesting they could play Scott outside. I was thinking slot corner, which has been a huge weakness for years. Echols had decent moments, but go back and watch the losses to the Chargers and Texans if you think he is the answer. Scott could also have ended up at safety, which is a huge need. They have Brisker and a bunch of band aids at safety right now.

I'm still not even convinced that he will stay at running back. Heidenreich might be better as a slot receiver who can move to the backfield in certain passing situations.

His comp based on combine measurables is a faster Tony Pollard.

They had 5 extra draft picks

That equates to 5 less UDFA

They can only carry 90 (I think)

More on the Eagles moving up. Still cant believe Dallas helped a division rival like that. Hope Lemon burns them twice a year.

Wonder what our offer to move ahead of Tampa was.

Whatever it was, Tampa Bay clearly didn't like it. If I had to wager though, one of the EDGEs that were within discussion of being traded; Highsmith or Herbig. Given how the Bucs selected the likes of Reuben Bain, it is possible that one of those two were among the assets that the Bucs wanted; draft picks being included as well.

The better question pertains as to who did the Steelers want (player wise) from Tampa Bay?! No one that I see would be considered a potential trade target.
