Coincidentally enough, for me, my floor comp for him is a more athletic Oher.

They might, but having a year under his belt on the right side, they may not want to move him but the right side is where Max has played and they might not want to put more on his plate by moving him. We’ll see what they decide.

I remember Rodgers raving about the right side of the line though, I could see them leaving it that way.

Yep. We're all just guessing which side they will use him at this point. We'll find out soon enough.

I would suggest that we MUST try Max at left as his natural talent (pass blocking featuring his quick feet in lateral sliding mirroring elite pass rushers) lends itself to the role of left tackle even if it delays his becoming a starter. I would suggest that "players natural position" is less "natural" than "familiar" (playing right tackle since high school). This dude "lack" of experience might play in his favor in the switch as he likely is less set in his ways.
If we think long term, Max has the "tools" to be elite on the left. Fautanu may be servicable, or even pretty good on the left where he is proven and HAS experience, but simply does not have those gifts that elite left tackles have like Max does. If it fails so be it, but I would hate to not try Max at the position he seems to have the prototypical tools to excel at.
