Tomlin and commentating go together like a fish-and-a-bicycle.

This was predictable, and why not he'll get paid well.

People think I am crazy, but I am still expecting a 2027 1st round pick for Mike Tomlin.

The Saints received both a 1st and 2nd for Sean Payton and a 3rd round pick from Denver. The Steelers should receive about the same, unless they just give him away.

First, it would be hilarious if Mike replaced Mike. Can't wait to read and hear all the super rationale discussion that would drive.

Second, WTF? How did we get to a place where anyone gives a crap who is having an affair with who? If a football head coach wants to step out on his wife with another married person....why does anyone care? With that being said....lets not turn this into some political debate.

Honestly, I think everyone being so online and needing something to be upset about every day is the thing. Like some stuff just isn't news and isn't something that most folks need to know or care about.

I hope He does just like Noll, and Cowher, and never coaches again. I didn't have to root against them, and I don't want to root against him.

I honestly think Tomlin will never coach again. He'll be great for TV, as he likes to talk. I think this is a great move for him and he'll stay in this position for quite sometime.

I don't think Tomlin will coach again. But if he was to coach again, I'd be surprised if he'd want to replace Vrabel now. Anything less than another legit and immediate super bowl run would be a failure in the cheating Patriot eyes. It would be a very high pressure time to take over IMO. And considering that one of the primary reasons Tomlin called it quits is because of recent playoff failures, I'm not sure he'd want that on his back to start out a new coaching venture.

I didn't know Tony Dungy was stepping down. I will miss his quiet, NON-SHOUTING, voice in the studio. Seems like many times when I tune in to watch a football talk show, the hosts spend the entire time yelling at each other.

NBC has signed him as a top studio analyst for 'Football Night in America,' filling the role left by Tony Dungy.
