NFL Network called the receiver part...just not the one they expected.

You have no idea how much more Lemon was valued by the team than Iheanachor. It could have been that Lemon scored an 8.84 on their board, and Iheanachor was an 8.83, just barely higher. You have no idea if Khan was “scrambling” or “settled.” In all likelihood not. He just went to the next guy on the board. As another poster noted above, we do know that it cost Philly a 3rd and a 4th to move up. Would the difference between Lemon and Iheanachor be worth that amount of draft capital? Also, the top tackles were going off the board fast. The notion that Khan was not “situationally aware” is an opinion grounded in whole bunch of shaky assumptions that are most likely wrong. The only thing embarrassing or concerning is being caught talking to your draft target before being on the clock. That’s a bad idea IMO, whether it’s common practice or not. Otherwise all rational evidence simply suggests that the team made a decision to draft the next guy on the board at a position of need and decided not to risk him being taken if they traded down.

By far the most concerning thing about last night for me is what it says about Broderick Jones (both health and performance). If tackle was as big of a need as WR, that’s not a good sign for Brod.

Arizona has some nerve..... 1st they sign James Connor's replacement in free agency...
Then they draft his replacements replacement... and then they send Connor to the podium to announce the draft of the man blocking for his replacements replacement

If they can't land him, have to wait until Saturday for a project Guard.

Texans are really fortifying that Defensive Line. Their QB can't hit the broadside of a barn the last couple seasons..but damn that pass rush is good.

I would have liked getting McDonald. It wasn’t realistic without a big swing though.
