This is similar to Matt Millen when he draft like 4 WRs in 5 years in the 2000s with only Calvin Johnson become a star...The difference for the steelers is the tackle position....3 in 4 years now

I am assuming a player that far down on the board did not get a Draft Invite.
This is the way to ensure that the Steelers continue the Streak of NOT picking up 5th year options. :)

Im always pounding the table for building the trenches. I wanted them to do whatever it took to get Vega. This is very well might be a great pick, but I’m so very meh about it.

Dude I pray I'm wrong, but I had him as a day 2 pick because he was a project. After Freeling was taken, I felt they should wait till day 2 for a Tackle. Again I hope I'm way wrong

When I watched the Senior Bowl practices, I had never heard of him. He was favorite player there by the end of the week.

Nobody likes it when they draft the big uglies. Then everyone complains when the offense gets stuck in the mud.

McCarthy said he liked big players you win in the trenches.

I don't mind passing on the receivers, but passing on a stud safety to reach for a developmental tackle is not good. I don't hate the player, but I think this was a missed opportunity.

I looked at my wife and said "All this waiting, and all I get to see is some random guy's a$$ take up the entire frame of the camera mooning us".

The Browns are going to get a stud defender in either McCoy or Thieneman.

I don't have a problem with taking a tackle. I have a problem with passing on the safety they need to grab a risky, developmental guy who likely won't help them at all this year.
