I was looking forward to some leftover deviled eggs this morning only to find out the grandkids wiped them all out last night.

That is just crazy. I looked it up and the reports out there say he grew 9" over the summer entering his senior year in high school. 5'8" to 6'5"

I don't know how long it would take a body to put on muscle after that type of growth spurt.

He didn't play football until his senior year in HS after the enormous growth spurt, so he is very raw at WR. They think he still has a lot more weight to gain because like you said his body went through an extremely rare growth spurt.

The only other case I've ever heard of before was from Jackie Smith the All Pro TE for the Cardinals although most Steeler fans remember him as a Cowboy dropping an easy TD in the Superbowl that helped the Steelers win. Smith said he was 5'7" when he was 15 and his brother threw a cat on his bare back that scratched him all up. He developed Cat Scratch Fever and it affected his pituitary gland and he grew to 6'3" in less than 3 months. He said it was extremely painful for him but he said without that incident he never would have played in the NFL.

    Tally

    Garrett Nussmeier: 2
    Demonte Capehart: 4
    Jakobi Lane: 2

We’ll give this a little longer for the other guys to vote but what do you guys want to do? Continue onto the 4th rd or call it after 3?

I'll go with Capehart. We need something on the d-line. And he has a lot more chance to contribute than Nussmeier.

Pacheco only played in 7 games last season and behind him the Lions have a bunch of nobodies.

Only two more picks for the Steelers.

    Too early for Cole Payton?

Really surprised Detroit brought him in. He cant be the answer to Montgomery.

Johnson could be though, good back.

Taylen Green was in for a visit today but someone just took him.

Dont think there are any other QBs worth taking a flyer on.

My official vote at 121 is for someone that has no business falling this far...

    Penn St RB Nicholas Singleton...

His style matches what McCarthy does on offense a bit more than Kaleb Johnson....
He's basically Jaylen Warren with more size

That's not a bad pick at all. If one of the top 2 RB's go down with injury, there's a steep dropoff to Kaleb Johnson as the #3 back. Looking through my list my top ranked player that is still undrafted is Keyron Crawford the Edge from Auburn. Edge isn't really a big need for us but Crawford is a good value in the fourth round. The same for TE, not really a great need but some sites have Sam Roush from Stanford as the 3rd best TE in the draft and he is still available. Roush is the great nephew of former HOF DT Merlin Olsen. As far as QB the best one left is Cole Payton and there is also Cade Klubnik, Sawyer Robertson from Baylor, Luke Altmyer from Illinois and everyone's favorite Vanderbilt's Diego Pavia.
