No thanks to Urquidy Bucs pull a W out of the hat. overall, good pitching, weak bats with few key hits when needed. Lowe with 3 bombs so far. Nice for a little guy.

 

FS1 No idea if out of towners get the channel but the Bucs/Reds are on tomorrow night at 6:30. I get it and I think it's part of FOX.

 

I believe FS1 has regional broadcasts so I'd be stuck with Brooklyn Bums or the Friars or Angels.

Don't look now but Cruz has 3 HRs and 6 RBIs in his last 4 at bats. 3-0 Bucs top of 1st. Pile it on boys. May need it in Great American Park. OK, 19 pitches for Skenes 1st inning, will be lucky to go 5 with 100 pitches. Dominant guy but not very efficient at all. Almost always an early bullpen game with him. But ROY, Cy Young, 2 ASG starts, not too shabby.

OK, 42 pitches now after 3, settling in a bit with 4 Ks and 2 BBs, no hits.

 

Just got home from golfing and I see Skenes gave up only 1 run on 3 hits. Much better then first outing.

I love what Cruz did but I have trouble rooting for him. He just looks so disinterested out there. Sometimes it looks like he doesn't know where he is.

Can the mighty BUCS get to .500?????

 

Wow, was just writing about how inefficient the hitting was today (except for Cruz) and Nick knocks in 2 insurance runs in top of 9th! Now Reynolds knocks a 2 run HR to break it wide open - 8-3, same score as last night. Wasn't liking this lineup without O'Hearn and Lowe but they managed to come through late. Sweet. Especially against the Big Red Machine in their house. Ozuna is a waste of a roster space so far, getting nothing from the DH spot.

 

Skenes will get a W. 3-3 road trip to start season is not to shabby for the Bucs.

Curious how the crowd will look Friday at PNC. Weird start time.

Bucs now have a positive run differential as well (+3). Gotta beat up on Division teams and at least .500 on all others. Weird opening at home against the AL and then the NL West. Goofy.

 

Hey guy, do you go to MLB.com??? Friend gave me his info so I can watch the games but every time I go to the site the screen darkens and I can't click on anything.

Never mind my way more tech savvy wife fixed it for me. Needless to say she used her signature saying for me, "there you go dumbass". Gotta love em!

 

Glad a better talent prevailed. LOL Used to get the Pittsburgh sport station back when I had DTV about 6 years ago (and was a bachelor) but not much these days unless it's Free Game of the Day on MLB.com.

 

Even though it would not hurt my wallet to pay to see the Bucs I won't unless they are decent. Comcast/Xfinity offers the MLB package for 150 "BUCS" and I think MLB.com is same price. Not a bad price if you watch most the games. Should they be relevant at the halfway mark I'd buy the Xfinity package for sure. It is marked down too. My 80 year old brother-in-law watched 148 of 162 last season.
