Steelers, Pirates, Penguins attire

Do you know anyone that lives in SW PA that does not have even one Steelers, Pirates, and/or Penguins attire?

I worked with two old women that I honestly believe did not.

 

So they were frugal and as you say, they were living long, I'm down.

 

No names, but someone is pondering some strange matters around this MB.

 

Brother moved to Philly years ago, his kids first reaction was that while Black and Gold was normal daily attire for kids at school, eagle shirts came out only after a win.

 

my uncle probably doesn't have any black and gold stuff --He is not a sports fan

 

Have you checked their corsets and pantaloons?

 

I was out on Cape Cod in Province Town mid football season with my wife (just tossing the wife part in there )

The Patriots shirts/jerseys outnumbered the Steelers shirts/jerseys 2 to 1

There were only 2 patriots jerseys

I had the Steelers shirt

 

Never heard of such a thing

If they need any I can spare a few or ten along with some Penn State stuff too

 

Christmas gifts. I have 3-4 family members living up there who couldn't care less about Pro sports. Actually hate the Pittsburgh teams due to traffic congestion. Thus we use to buy them Pittsburgh sport gear when we use to buy gifts.

 

There are a lot of people in New Mexico with Steelers gear and I know exactly where they got it

 

Better question is why were you in Provincetown

 

That’s why I tossed in the wife part just to avoid misunderstanding

Mrs jeh was at a convention in Newport and we took a few days to drive out Cape Cod and enjoy the scenery

It was lesbian week in P-Town and a lady comedian offered me two passes for that nights comedy show if it was alright if she picked on me as part of the routine

I was up for her using me to make fun but the show didn’t start until 10 pm and I don’t stay out that late anymore

 

There was a poll on here about 10 years ago about that and the results were the average fan on this TSF message board had 5 Steeler jerseys.

I was surprised that 34% of TSF board Steeler fans had 7 or more jerseys. Astonishing.

 

I was on the flight PIT-PHX that Ben took on his way to Reno for his court hearing back in the day.

When the seat belt sign was turned off, everybody, all 150 passengers got up and got Steeler gear out of their carry on luggage and formed a line to have Ben autograph them.

Nobody knew Ben would be on that flight, so that means all these people were flying around regularly with tons of Steeler merchandise in their luggage .
