Who are the best 17 QBs today?

I will take a stab at it using the past two years play as a guideline. Extra bonus points are given to young players on the rise and negative points are given to those who make the cut but are out of their prime / often injured.

    Tier one :

Maye, Stafford , Allen , Darnold, Love, Goff, and Mahomes.

    Tier two:

Herbert, Nix, Jackson ( only played 13 games ) , Burrow ( when healthy , only played 8 games ), Purdy ( only played 8 games ) , and Prescott.

Tier three: Hurts , Lawrence, Jones, Mayfield, and Williams.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Young players who can make the cut with a good and healthy 2026 season:

    Sough, Daniels and Dart.

Thank you for not putting Stroud in this list. IMO he is soft and folds under pressure. I'm not sold on Shough or Dart in your last category. I would probably include Cam Ward as someone to watch. He got thrown into the fire from day 1 with a garbage team with low talent, crap coaching, and one of the poorest run franchises in the league.
