Turns out, Kelce has more football left in him than anyone expected. Kelce reportedly signed a three-year, $54.7 million contract with Kansas City on Monday, per NFL Network. A deeper dive into his contract, however, reveals those figures are a bit exaggerated.

The Chiefs confirmed Kelce signed a contract Monday, though did not provide financial details of Kelce’s new deal.

 

This will likely be his last season. The contract is salary cap gymnastics.

I suspect that the reason details are scarce is that the final two years can be voided while the first year is more up front. Again, my guess but whos to say. Not 100% certain on how Brett Veach handles Contracts.
