Have you made a Pirates road trip to watch them at another park? Other than spring training.

    For me:

    Baltimore
    Boston
    Chicago Cubs
    Cincinnati
    Detroit
    Miami
    Milwaukee
    Philadelphia
    Tampa

    Yours?

That is awesome! When I was younger I always wanted to go to other ballparks to see the Bucs play but I didn't have the dollars. When I finally had a lot of disposable income I lost my desire to travel a lot.

Just Philly for me by default. I've lived in their fandom the last 50 years. Memory tough now days but I've been to about 15-20 Pirate and Penguins (scary, they hated Crosby) games in Philly, saw 3 wins:( Bright side, I made Sports Illustrated. Pure chance, I had front row seats and I was in background of a picture of a Flyer the were doing an article on.

I'm on a Pirate message board with very few members. I think I'll ask this question on there.

I know many Philly fans who do spring training and visit other teams spring training parks but only know two guys who have traveled around the country following them. I think they have been to 14-15 other ballparks watching the Phillies.

After leaving the Burg, only saw them on left coast - LA, Anaheim, San Diego (the Murph and Petco) and SF (The Stick and Pac Bell or whatever they call it now). I did return to the Burg to catch them their 1st season at PNC as well as Steelers very first game at Heinz, both wins and on the same day!.

Only time I have ever seen a Pirates game is against Braves in Atlanta. Went to the final game of season last year, it had been a while. Other time it was 19 inning game,we actually left at 10 inn. and drove all the way back home just as game ended. Also seen 90`s playoff game, it was 1-0 game can't remember year ! lol We won !
