Why do you think he went with the PR non-denial denial instead of just completely denying the reports?

Why do you think Kenny would say

if there hadn't indeed been talks about him being the backup as the 3?

If there were no talks about him backing up as QB3, why wouldn't he omit the underlined qualifier that clearly shows that he's being deceptive in his answer?

I am addressing Blast's statement. I did not bring Pickett into a thread about Gainwell. Doing so was clearly trolling.

 

Why drag him into this thread? There is no reason to do it other than to start a problem. I am specifically talking about what is happening on this board, not the ongoing obsession of some Steelers fans with a guy who has been gone for two years. You tell me. What does he have to do with Gainwell? People constantly bringing him up to attack the guy is getting old, too, especially when they bring it into unrelated threads.

Of course, you are entitled to your own biases regarding Pickett, but a few posters have decided to drag it into unrelated thread as he did here. I'm unsure why you can't see that for what it is.

 

I was actually defending Pickett in the JJ McCarthy thread. Pickett has won more games with Steelers than McCarthy has with Vikings.

Both were 1st round draft pick QBs that were picked too early... and should have been picked in later rounds.

 

NorthernBlitz is a stand-up guy and good poster. Top notch.

 

Normally, he brings thoughtful analysis to these discussions, but there was no good reason to drag Pickett into a thread about Gainwell.
