Draft Trades

I haven't seen many people talking about it. But I think this will be the most active draft the Steelers have ever seen in terms of navigating around the draft board.

They have 12 draft picks, 5 in the top 100, 7 in the first four rounds.

The most draft picks the Steelers have ever had make a roster is 8. That's in their entire history. And this is a roster that they feel is competing for a championship, so don't expect them to load the roster with even 8 rookies.

That would lead me to believe they will be aggressive trading up or trading current picks for future picks.

It should be a very exciting draft weekend!

 

They will definitely make some trades either up or down because 12 rookies won't make the team, I want them to acquire some extra picks for 2027.

 

i can see them trading back once or twice just a little and getting a couple picks for next draft because they can get some solid players in the draft even trading back a little and adding to next year's draft to possibly move up. because it seems to me like they are attacking FA where they are attempting to fill holes not just add depth....
