I would be willing to part with one of those third rounders for the right player, but I wouldn't trade two of them we need depth players.

Sonny's older brother is blazing fast that's for sure. He played WR for 2 years at Notre Dame before switching to Safety after transferring to Ohio State. He was projected as an UDFA but the 4.28 probably gets him drafted now.

Wow, Eli Stowers the TE from Vanderbilt just had a 11.3 broad jump and a 45.5 vertical!

Kenyon Sadiq at 245 lbs just ran a 4.39, just crazy.

Dillon Thieneman in the first would be outstanding, but they could go Kilgore in the 2nd instead.

Need I remind everyone again that the NFL Combine is, for all intensive purposes, is purely entertainment only. NFL Scouting Departments have scouted these players months in advance of the event. The event itself is just either validation of what was seen on tape or taking a second look at the tape of some (and I stress some) of the top prospects that team has scouted extensively.

For example, Jacob Rodrigeiz and Tacario Davis both need further examination by a lot of people; myself included and doubly so for me in Jacob's case. He surely didn't look like a 4.5 guy this season.

Beck lost a lot of points with me by refusing to shake hands after the championship game. I'd rather take a flyer on someone who played the year injured (Nussmeier, Allar) than someone like Beck or Pavia who've shown a complete lack of class.

Hence why I don't pay attention to 40 times. There are exceptions to this rule, such as Jacob Rodriguez from Texas Tech but those exceptions are so few and far between. Speed is still a great measurement.... just not the 40 yard dash.

Clocking a player based on their GPS on the field?! That to me is a much better metric.

    Hell no on Dillion.

Safety is more traits based than tools based. Being that fast helps but Dillions Play Recognition, Processing Speed and most of all, average COD Skills in man coverage on long developing routes makes him limited. NFL Teams will feast on that very much so; doubly so in the AFC North where Play Action runs at a pretty high rate.

I'd rather roll the dice via a trade up for Caleb Downs.

Lemon, to me, is a Second Round Talent overall anyways. Slot players like him can be found in a lot of drafts; if not every draft. The Amon-Ra St. Brown comps. are silly as St Brown was stronger and quicker coming out of USC. Furthermore, unlike Brown, Lemon has shown he cannot beat press consistently at the LOS; the area in which a WR has to begin first to even get to his spot.

Being slot limited is one thing. Being unable to consistently beat press at the LOS?! Yikes.

I’ll be surprised if Lemon drops out of the first. I think he has the skills.

You mean the guy who beat out Jeremiah Smith for the Biletnikoff award last year, Brown lasted until the 4th round all the scouts can't be wrong about Lemon.
