John Kolb is arguably the best LT in Steelers History. Alejandro Villenueva is a close second.

Larry Brown was a converted tight end, he was pretty good as a tackle.

No argument about Kolb, but i would put Marvel Smith ahead of Villenueva

I will probably get to meet Jon Kolb this summer. His sons are really good friends with my brother's neighbor and they all come to visit every year. My brother (Steelers fan too) met them all last summer. Got to meet the whole clan. I am not a fanboy of any rich or famous person, but it will be cool to meet a Steelers legend.

Marvel Smith very underated and I don't think I have ever seen him give up a sack.

AV was a dude that you just wanted to root for. I always liked Max Starks too. Maybe not the best OT, but reliable and seemed like a good teammate.

IMO, AV was a good guy, great story, average LT. On a positive note, he was only paid as an average LT so the team got good value. I'd put Kolb up top, and in my more recent memory I always liked Marvel.
