Isn't the behind the doors "arbitrator" on this the Commish.

    • The Conflict of Interest: The NFL Constitution grants the Commissioner "full, complete, and final jurisdiction" to arbitrate disputes.

Report cards are usually overly generous in their grades. I see players and coaches get higher grades than they deserve all the damn time.

At my grandkids school there are no letter grades. They are given a 1, 2 or 3 on the report card. 3 is good, 2 is average and 1 is below average. If you get nothing but 1's you still get a diploma when you finish 12th grade.

We got E's instead of F's for failing grades back in the 80's when I was in school. I had a good friend who got a D-E-A-D.... on his report card. D for the 2nd Six weeks, E for the 3rd Six Weeks, A for the Exam and D for the Semester Average. :applaud:

I did feel the report cards did prove the Rooneys were as cheap as blamed to be. And the team and fans suffered.

As much as I'd love to blame Tomlin for hiring below average assistant coaches, I think the report cards show it wasn't all his fault. The Steelers just plain paid less for assistant coaches, had fewer of them and worked them harder. Tougher to hire good help.

The Steeler medical doctors were probably underpaid too which explains the Bettis, Lloyd and Watt medical issues.

I'll bet we don't know the half of it.

I can say from first hand knowledge this is a blatant lie

And you should be treated with the total indignation liars deserve

You no longer have any credibility on this board

Rhetorical question but why is it so hard for some people to be honest and honorable

Supposedly Woody led the charge. Guess he had a hard on for getting rid of it.

Kind of like designing a Sunday Ticket program that, under the guise of offering the consumer fair, affordable means of watching their favorite team's games forces them to a) pay for access to games they have no interest in; b) pay to see their team play even if televised nationally; and c) not have access to see their team play games the league chooses to sell the rights of to other streaming providers; all in an effort to advance the interests of league owners and executives in amassing stockpiles of additional revenue.

I think it can be...but Goodell can appoint someone else.

At least that's how I think suspension type things are done (even though Goodell could just do them himself).

I think they were mostly a signal that the practice facilities suck. Probably because they are old and "worse" than facilities at a lot of high end colleges.

And that they don't have daycare or whatever.

I believe the Steelers added day care amenities, would they have ever done that without the report cards? That was a recurring failing grade each year.

    felt ripped
    rack cracked
    no chalk
    no powder
and all the pockets had a frog that would hop out after sinking the pink ball

Owners must be pretty damn happy about this.

Not that I care. I will miss though seeing the overall grades of each team.
