Why on earth would a boxer wear a hairpiece in the ring???
Everytime I say hairpiece, I think of Cheech and Chong.

So back in 2007 when the wife and I started dating one the first times I was introduced to her family was at Thanksgiving that year. Her dad found out I was a big Steelers fan and asked me if I knew who Ron Erhardt was. Now of course I did since he was one of Cowher's first Offensive Coordinators which was about the time I had gotten really into paying attention to football. So my father in law says to me that Erhardt had told him "Doppler you're the best football player Ive ever seen." Now I thought he was just giving me a hard time because he was like that, he liked to joke about things plus I was dating his daughter so yeah didn't think anything more about it. Well when he passed away last July that memory came up and I decided to do some research. Turns out Ron Erhardt did coach football at St. Mary's in Bismarck ND which is where my father in law had grown up, went to school and started college. So it's totally possible that Erhardt had said that to him and now left to wonder how much truth there was in that story. Anyway thought it was a neat OC story.

    MM's last season in Dallas:

    11 personnel: 71%
    12 personnel: 11%
    21 personnel: 8%

    Steelers 2025 season:

    11 personnel: 39%
    12 personnel: 25%
    13 personnel: 14% [#2 in the NFL]

The only way the Steelers will run more 11 personnel is if they can find another WR.

What I don't understand is why the Steelers didn't run more 21 or 22 personnel having two RBs that excel in the passing game and are decent enough as rushers. A positive sign is that MM did run that grouping in Dallas at a good rate. Assuming Warren/Gainwell combo are back I could see this as a part of the offense.

I'm not sure that would have been an option for the Ravens because that would have been a lateral move for Minter.

Reportedly first time ever for Steelers to employ a Game Management coach
