I will continue to say they are cheap because they share their training facility with the local college. Saving money by having a roommate is CHEAP!!!

It is nice to hear that the Rooney's are making plans to grow up and move out on their own. :)

And, I do challenge anyone to explain to me how sharing your training facilities with a college to split the cost, is not a cheap ass move!

All this points to is what I said. They are not the richest of owners, and what I believe you perceive as cheap is out of necessity, not because they want to be cheap.

I agree with what You wrote, but I was just saying that as of right now, they are putting all their money on Lamar, and I believe as of right now they will take him over any HC, so a HC must step lightly for now.

    This makes zero sense Brice

You are ignoring all of the facts and details that were included in this decision and the finances

Please name another pro team that shares their training facility.

The players complain about this at the end of every year in that team survey the NFLPA report card.

What sidestep? The Steelers are the only Pro team splitting the cost of their training facility with the local college.

Every year the players make it known they hate not having their own training facility.

59 years ago this may have been acceptable to share your facilities to decrease cost, but now days the millionaire players are going to expect a million dollar elite training facility dedicated just to them.

Hell, even I don't want to workout at the local YMCA, Rec Center or the local College; a gym that is not packed with high school and college kids is for me.

    Again

You are ignoring all of the facts and details that were included in this decision and the finances

What you do at the Y has no input on where the Steelers practice

Read your false post that I called you out on slowly

That is not the discussion at hand

When I called you out you changed the conversation and started tossing gibberish

I am going to assume you are fairly young and have no idea of how and why the training facility and the stadium are shared

If you understood you would realize how foolish your “original” post was before you moved the goal posts

If you want to address this please respond

Not disagreeing with the Ravens putting all their hopes onto Lamar. I am merely stating that what Baltimore believes Lamar is vs what he actually is are two different things. Derrick Henry is the one that stirs that Offense... or at least he was in 2024. 2025 wasn't too kind to him but Baltimore had a ton of issues.

Should the Ravens receive 2024 Derrick Henry with Declan Doyle's Offense?! Definitely have something there. If not?! Yikes.

    STEELERS:
In the past 19 years, we've won a playoff game in 4 of them.

In the past 19 years, we've had 1 franchise QB.

In the last 8 years, we've won 0 playoff games, with 6 utterly humiliating playoff losses the seasons we made it.

    PACKERS:
In the past 19 seasons, the pack have won a playoff game in 9 of them.

In the past 19 seasons, the pack have had 3 franchise QB's.

In the last 8 years, the pack have won 5 playoff games.

My point is the Steelers have mismanaged how to deal with life after Ben. The pack had a much better plan.

For the 5 millionth time since when does wining a playoff game , or two a year get you a SB???
If it did the Bills would have been to the SB years ago.
    A little clue.
Neither team in the SB last night won a playoff game the year before.
You people act like it's a freaking stepping stone. It's not , I've had this argument every year, and every year I show evidence it's not. You don't win one playoff one year, two the next, and 3 the next, and make the SB, that's not how it works.
You win enough to make the playoffs, and then You win enough to make the SB. There are no in betweens.
The Packers have the same exact amount of SB appearances, and wins their way as we have doing it the Steelers way with Ben.
Is the final outcome to go to SBs, or to win a playoff game??
Because if it is just to win a playoff game then we should just crown the Bills, they win playoff games every year, but still fail to reach the SB.

Sure, if the only measure of success for you is winning the super bowl. And in that case, Tomlin has been a failure since 2008, even when he still had Ben, 17 straight years of failure.

We have not been competitive in the playoffs for a decade. We have floundered at QB since Ben hurt his elbow. The succession plan has stunk. The offense has stunk worse and has gone down hill in the playoffs in a steep trajectory. And the plan to plug in has-been QBs and playing not-to-lose conservative football is settling for some regular season wins and being totally unprepared for the post-season.

I personally will deem a season successful if we make the playoffs and play a COMPETITIVE game. One where we have a shot of winning. Sure, sometimes you come up short, even with a superman like Mahomes or Allen. But we haven't played even remotely competitive for a very long time.

    All that typed for nothing.
    It's really very simple.
If You only want a playoff win here , and there. Green Bay did better.
If You want to make SBs , they did exactly the same. You can flip it, argue it, type two whole books full of words, but the final outcome is.....Green Bay went to 3 SBs, and won 2 with their way.
The Steelers went to 3 SBs, and won 2 their way.
