His stats might not be great but winning two Super Bowls over Brady and the Patriots will eventually get him in IMO.

His won loss record really hurts him. I think he finished only one game over .500
He finished 117-117 and led the league in interceptions 4 times.

I really don't think he should get in.
Like if there was a section in the HOF for specific plays, then yeah, the helmet catch should be in there, but Eli by himself just isn't a HOF worthy player IMO.
His defence won him those SB's. Probably 1/2 of the QB's in the league would have won those SB's.

Jim Plunkett still isn't in. Look's like the HOF is adding Eli Manning to that list as a whole as well. Regarding the HOF as a whole?!

Their credibility is shot so who the hell knows what classifies as a HOFer anymore?! No seriously. Does anyone have a clue?!

Should be obvious upon first impression. The Pro Football Hall of Fame is reserved for those who have been dominant at their respective positions for a considerable length of time. That said, Bill Belichick not getting in and, whatever you think of him, Terrell Owens not getting in on his first shot brings that into question. For me, Peter King's damning indictment on why he didn't vote for Troy Polamalu is only coming to light due to the backlash the Pro Football HOF Committee is receiving for not inducting Belichick. That signaled the final straw from where I stand.

Since then?! How the NFL gives out these awards to even Pro HOF Inductees has been questionable at best to suspect at worst. L.C. Greenwood should have been in a long ass time ago but that is another story for another time. As for Eli, I don't expect him getting in anytime soon.

Profootball reference has Eli ranked on the lower tier but well ahead of guys like Kelly and Aikman. I have heard some argue the QB position is underrepresented in the Hall given the importance of the position.
