    If the Steelers wanted Flores or McCarthy they would've signed them by now.

    Theyre waiting for Shula. I could be wrong but i sort of doubt it.

    They can't make any hires without having conducted at least two in person interviews with minority/female candidates.

    They're at least going to talk to both of them before they make a decision... I'd imagine one of the two of these guys are their first choice. If any of the others were their top choice, they would have hired them already. It really seems like Shula or Scheelhaase are going to get the job, and if they both end up choosing a different HC gig to take (Bills or Ravens), then we will choose from the rest of the list we brought in for in-person visits (McCarthy, Flores, Weaver).

    We will have this pre-requisite fulfilled on Friday after our in-person interview with Weaver.

    I still think we're going to wait until we can get in-person interviews with Scheelhaase and Shula though. No use in making a decision until we speak to those guys too.

    Interesting. Does this guarantee the Vikes 3rd rd compensation if he leaves? Because otherwise I cant see why they’d be ok with the arrangement.
